ENQUIRY FOR REFERENCE FOR MN1

Hi
I have a quick question regarding mn1 application which i applied on 21st of feb 19 for my 2 kids.
I have checked with my refrees and they both said that they did not get any query from homeoffice.
Is that normal?
Bcs it is almost 2 and half month and no reply yet except for acknowledgement emails.

Referees may or may not be contacted - not an indication as to progress of the application.
There are very few reports of referees being contacted.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
