PR under the EEA/EU rules is completely separate and different to British citizenship under the British Nationality Laws. What might be accepted for PR is not necessarily accepted for citizenship. So make sure that your citizenship application meets all the requirements and forget about what you were required to meet to get PR.As I have recently received a PR recently I reckon the below requirements were fulfilled :
absences in the last 3 years are less than 270 days
Correct. You must have been physically in the UK. It is a mandatory requirement and many have been refused for citizenship for failing to meet this requirement.physically present in the UK exactly 3 years ago . does that mean I could have not even been even on a holiday in Europe on that date 3 years ago
