MN1 guidance clarification for child application

Post by athri » Thu Jul 25, 2019 7:08 pm

hello everyone...
Myself and my wife are both on ILR and our daughter is on ILE (Indefinite leave to enter) visa as she was born outside of UK. We all are now eligible to apply for citizenship and I believe my daughter should apply under Section 3(1) as per MN1 form guidance which states as below,

'Where one or both parents are applying for British citizenship they may apply for one or more children who are not automatically British at birth to be registered as British citizens as part of a “family application”. Children in this category will be considered at the Home Secretary’s discretion and will usually be registered only if both the parents are granted or already hold British citizenship, or if one parent holds British citizenship
'
My query is, with the new online application process is it possible to submit a single application (eg: myself and my daughter) at all or is "family application" not possible anymore?

Kind Regards, Abhi

yes, I applied for my wife and son in a single application form, both had ILR,
However, the documents checklist will be separate.
