Probably easier to have given birth in the UK (in my opinion). Our plan was to give birth in malaysia then come back to the uk at the end of this year .
Then you can apply for a certificate of entitlement to right of abode in the Malaysian passport. Costs around £400 and takes a few weeks. The child would need to get a malaysia passport to fly .
The UK allows dual citizenship, it is Malaysia that is the issue. Your child would be British by Descent regardless. So would this affect the process of getting a UK citizenship ?
