Re: online application

Post by Faireena » Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:25 am

In my last online application I have made a careless mistake ( I have a print out of the last application ) .
Last year I travelled to UK on 24 th May and my departure date was 30 June I have written departure date as 1 June in the last application . Will there be an issue now ?

Clarify it in the additional info section of the form.

Online application

Post by Faireena » Fri Aug 02, 2019 8:31 am

They are asking the date of refusal of my last application. I got a message from vfs that my processed visa application is dispatched on 4 th March 2019. Can I use this as date of refusal ?

A refused application is always accompanied by a refusal letter so you should refer to the date in the refusal letter. You should have even enclosed the letter itself in your recent application.

Found the letter . 😅
Thanks

A small query , under family details section
It says spouse or partner
Asks for my marital status that is married
Will my spouse be travelling with me No
Current passport number ? Are they asking mine or my husband’s passport number
Nationality ? Again mine or his
Family name? It says if you have one name , please enter it in the given name box - this is so confusing why is it saying you if they are enquiring about my spouse

Re: Priority Service

Post by Faireena » Fri Aug 02, 2019 6:25 pm

My last application was refused due to insufficient payslips and payslips not matching the bank statement, at that time my husband was a director of a pvt limited company .
Now he is on salaried employment and all his payslips match . We have put all the required documents .
Should we go for a priority settlement visa as I have PLAB 2 exam in November . I have heard that if your last application is refused, then it might take long and there is no use of priority service then

How long it takes
If you apply outside the UK a decision will usually be made within 12 weeks.

If you apply in the UK a decision will usually be made within 8 weeks of your application date if you use the standard service.

If you use the super priority service a decision will usually be made:

by the end of the next working day after providing your biometric information if your appointment is on a weekday
2 working days after providing your biometric information if your appointment is at the weekend
Working days are Monday to Friday, not including bank holidays.

It might take longer if your application is complex, for example you:

do not meet the minimum income requirement
cannot prove your knowledge of English
need to attend an interview
have not provided all the evidence that the Home Office needs
have a criminal conviction or another personal circumstance that needs to be reviewed

Re: Issue with booking of priority service a

Post by Faireena » Sat Aug 03, 2019 10:30 am

After paying my visa application fee , it says register at commercial partner. I am trying to register at vfs global Uk but there is no option to register since today morning. Yesterday I could see a register tab on the top left corner next to sign in but that tab wasn’t functioning . Now how do I register ? Have been trying a lot .

Can I apply for priority settlement service by paying at the vfs office . I am applying from Bangalore, India . Last time I was able to apply online for priority service so I don’t know whether we can pay at the centre too as it’s clearly a website issue.

Please help !! Really worried now as I have an exam in November and I need to go early .

Re: Documents that were verified in the last application

Post by Faireena » Thu Aug 08, 2019 9:21 am

Please reply as I need to submit my documents today

In my previous application , I had verified my husband’s passport biodata pages copy and other documents . In this application I am using the same verified copies and not getting new ones ? Is that fine as rejection was in financial grounds so I have added only financial documents and added more whatsapp chat history . Is there a problem if I use verified copies that I used in the last application ??

and other documents
If these are not accommodation or finance or job related then also should be fine.

Re:issue with employment contract

Post by Faireena » Wed Sep 11, 2019 9:03 am

Today we realised that the employment letter states that my husband started his employment on 28 January 2019 , which is the right date . However his contract says 28 Jan 2018 - To be confirmed . Unfortunately we didn’t realise that the contract has an error with the year and we gave the contract as well along with the employment letter . Now that the application is submitted and is awaiting a decision , I am afraid what can be a possible consequence . We have talked to the HR to inform the UKVI if they contact him and clarify that the commencement was from 28 Jan 2019 and not 2018.
Will this be a cause of rejection ? What can I do

If employer letter is stating that correctly then maybe no issue. UKVI caseworker can also call you and your employer for clarification.

Hello guys
Today on my 26 th working day from biometrics I recieved a text message and an email from vfs global that my processed visa application will be delivered to the chosen address. I had called the helpline yesterday enquiring about my application status and they told me that it’s still awaiting a decision and is being processed .
Now my concern is that can they make a decision and get my passport processed too in just 1 day. Or does this indicate a negative outcome ?? I am so tensed as this is my second application .

Wait couple of more days than visit the centre in person because they dont tell the decision on phone.
