Convocation Certificate for MCA...

Post by coolsats » Wed Jul 23, 2008 4:55 am

Hi guys,

My cousin is applying for Tier 1, and has done her MCA, but does not has her convocation from the university yet, she will get it in december.
But she has a convocation from the college, stating that she has done her MCA and crossed in first class.
Would this be a problem, when applying for Tier 1.
She has all the six sem transcripts thought.
Pls let me know ur comments on this.

Thanks

 Do you really know what convocation means?

In absence of any logical clarity in your query, I am assuming here that what you are trying to convey is that the person does not possess the degree certificate at the moment. If this is indeed the case, then read Tier 1 policy guidance as to what alternate evidence can be submitted for qualifications (and english language requirements) when a degree has either not been awarded or is not available.

Hi Sushdmehta,

But she is having all the six semester mark sheets, and a convocation from the college stating that the person has cleared the MCA with first class, the only thing missing is the Convocation from the University.
Can she not apply without it.
I was presuming that it should be okey to apply without the convocation.
She is claiming 35 points for MCA, if she could not show this, then she wont meet the eligiblity criteria.
Pls help me with your comments here.
Can i suggest her to file the application without Tier 1, pls suggest..
Thanks for your help.

English, so simple, shouldn't be difficult to understand. Let's try again -

*Read Tier 1 policy guidance* to find out what alternate evidence of qualifications (and english language requirements) are acceptable.
