1-one referees should be a person of any nationality who has a professional standing! Eg minister of religion, civil servant or member of a professional body.
My best friend lives and works in the UK as a Maintenance Technician, can he act as a referee for me?
Thanks a lot!CR001 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 7:08 am1. Please don't tag your questions onto other members topics. Your post has been merged with your own topic.Dousey wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 7:04 amHi all and sorry if I ask this question in the wrong post but it’s regarding the referees.

2. If he is not British, then no he cannot act as your professional referee. Your professional referee must be in the ho list of accepted professions and be of any nationality.

I was hoping you could see my post and help out with a few questions I have!
I have been caught by a speed camera back in April 2017 SP50 I took the speed awareness course and got cleared. Unfortunately i have been caught again in March 2018 as SP30 and as a result I was fined £100 and 3points endorsement.
Can this affect my application for a BC naturalisation and result to a refusal?
Declare but will not be an issue.
What was your driving offence?
1- disqualification for speeding? You weren't disqualified, didn't loose your licence.
Or
Something else? Yes
Brilliant thank you so much appreciatedalterhase58 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 9:25 pmhttps://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... ooklet.pdfDousey wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 6:49 pmHi CR001

A couple of years ago I was on a low income and my mice and I applied for Tax credit but last year it turned out that I earning increased and HRMC overpaid us but We are paying that back it’s all set by direct payment!
Is this worth declaring?
Can it be an issue?
