Ok cool looks like the early feb ones are pending. Let’s pray we all get sorted this week. The virus thing is just making me more nervous. What I fear is losing letters in the post.
No. Calm down. I applied 31.12.2019. My friend applied 15.11.2019 and still nothing.

Hi All,

Hope everyone is safe in this extraordinary times!

I hope I am writing in the correct topic.

My wife and I have British Citizenship application booked in Corydon centre on 31 March with Sofra Steria.

Does anyone know:

1. Is it possible to rebook the application (we would love to rebook it earlier, even tomorrow theoretically)? If so, how is this possible on SOFRA STERIA website?

2. If above is not possible, does anyone know if on 31 Sofra Steria Croydon centre will be open?

Many thanks

If you read/search their previous posts, they applied for a home country passport and travelled on it while I'm the UK on humanitarian leave.

Hi all,
I just received my invitation letter. However my council said that they are not accepting any ceremonies, including private. My council is Barnet. Any other in the same situation?

any reply on this .
please if any one can suggest

Hello All

Applied online 6-3-2020 for my Naturalisation application, unfortunately did not realize 3 years ago I was not present in UK for the period 20-2-2017 till 18-3-2017. Fees deducted and I m due to go for submission of documents and biometric on 30-3-2020. I read on the MN1 guidebook if the physical presence is more then 2 months then office will refuse the application but if it's under 2 months then officer can act as a descretion his choice he can ask the applicant to signed and choose the date you were present in the UK.

I m too scared as the fees is nearly £1500 which I paid after the ILR £3500 Fee

Any recommendation if I need to write Home office for this or any other experience that give me some good sleep till then

Many thanks

It is not necessary to spam older topics with the same query.

Also please do not post personal contact details on the forum. This is strictly not permitted. You also do not have access to the PM function as yet.

Unclear from your posts what your immigration route etc is to ilr.

Are you married to a British citizen??

Mn1 guide is irrelevant to naturalisation so presumably you mean form AN guide??

One day , after I hopefully get my Ctizenship and all this craziness of Coronavirus ends and I was still alive , I will ask one question to the Genetal Director of of Visa and immigration , despite this difficult times many are getting there applications approved in 4 - 6 weeks ( good for them, I don't wish this wait not even for an enemy) only those that are settled as refugees are waiting for months and months with no obvious reason. I will ask Why .. just why

HA ha I have already contact General Director of Visa and Immigration in January 2020. You think I received a reply? Of course no!
I am also a refugee and as I explained - this is pure discrimination by UKVI. I cannot understand why for refugees it takes ages! Lazy!

They are working from home but in according to their work efficiency we should consider they are closed for a while.

On what basis you wish to make a claim? Do not forget HO will say that citizenship is a privilege and it is not necessary thing. Unless you can make a claim for negligence. To get information about your application you can make an SRA request which will take 30 days for them to process. I am currently awaiting for it now to see what has been done to my application made in September 2019 - and I bet nothing has been done since that time.
