Hi all,
My story is as follows:
2012: Arrive in the UK on a Tier 4 visa for university. Register with OVRO and receive PRC. Update all addresses 2012-2015.
2015: Arrive in the UK, this time on a Tier 2 work visa. Register BRP and new address with local police. Update all address changes.
2018: Receive new BRP (extension of existing Tier 2 visa). Forget to report this to police.
2019: Receive new passport. Forget to report this to police.
2020: Move to new address. I was intending to go to the police and update this, at which point I realised I never reported my new BRP and passport.
Obviously now the OVRO is closed so I cannot do anything for at least a few months and very worried. My planned course of action is to wait for the earliest available appointment, whenever that may be, and just be honest about my oversight. I hope that all the previous updates of address that show on my PRC will be taken into account.
Other threads on these forums generally confirm there are no serious consequences if it is a first offence but I wanted to check if anyone has any more recent experiences with this? Worried sick and wish I could do something about it now.
Thanks
