Am I good to go - wat about high amount transactions in acc

Post by saurabh_gyl » Thu Aug 14, 2008 4:23 am

hi guys

this forum is really wonderful...i have done a lot of research based on it and the info available on the agency website. i am applying for tier 1 very soon infact i have taken an appointment with vfs bangalore on 19th august Tuesday that is.

I giving the details of all documents that i am going to submit below. please go thru it and let me know if am good to go.

Age: 20 points
proof: passport

Qualification: 30 points
proof: orignal degree(qual. on self assessment tool), 4 years consolidated marksheet

Earnings: 40 points
proof:
payslips on company letter head seaed and signed by HR exec on 4th August.
bank statement on bank's computer stationary bearing bank's logo, sealed and signed by bank official on 12th august tuesday.

English language: 10 points
proof: bacholer degree(qualification on tool)

funds: 10 points
proof: i'll get bank's statement on computer stationary sealed and signed by bank official this saturday. this account is different from the salary account. i have maintained about 4L in this account.

i have one doubt here. i have applied for a personal loan from my company for 50k for the tier1 fee. since the loan is getting delayed i asked my friend to transfer me 35K to my salary account, but instead he transferred it into my account in which i am maintaining balance. can this transaction be a problem. also there are few credit/debit transactions of about 20K in this account in last 3 months and a debit transaction of about 48K(this 48 k goes into an online FD of mine). all the time the minimum balcance has never gone below 3.9L. as soon as i get the loan in my salary account i'll return this money back to my friend.

also i am not submitting any proof for accommodation and job offers.

Do u guys think that i am good to go.
Regards,
Saurabh

Looks like you are running a scam.
Good way to raise the hairs on the back of the HO
NOt a smart move to ask your friend for a loan.

Code: Select all

3. Letter from bank confi rming funds and that they
have been in the bank for at least three months: The
letter from a bank or building society should show:
• the applicant’s name;
• the account number;
• the date of the letter;
• the fi nancial institution’s name and logo;
• the funds held in the applicant’s account; and
• that the funds of £2,800 or £800 have been in the
bank for at least three months and the balance has
always been at least £2,800 or £800, as appropriate

We will not accept letters which simply show the
balance in the account on a particular day as these
documents do not demonstrate that applicants hold
suffi cient funds for the full period required.

It is better to meet this requirement as well...

According to my mail communication with BHC -
Applicants must provide documentary evidence detailing the source of any funds that have entered their account(s) within
the last 3 months, for example fixed deposits, receipts and/or legal documents relating to the sale of assets. Any amount
taken as loan must be available in the bank.
So, you may have to show relevant documents for the same. Search the forum for source of funds..you should get some info
on drafting an affidavit or something.

i have maintained about 4 lacks INR (~4700 GBP)in my account for more than 3 months. I could have taken 51000 INR(600 GBP) out of it to pay for the Tier1 fee. But i thought of maintaining this balance of 4700 GBP and arrange for fee from somewhere else. so i asked a friend to lend me 35K for 3-4 days, but by mistake he transferred it into my account in which i was maintaining balance just 1 day back taking my balance to about 435000 INR (~5100 GBP).
and as u said BHC may ask for the source of funds, wat if i return this money back to my friend today itself. i'll arrange for fe from somewhere else. wat do u think.

also can any one please tel me about the other docs, are they good enough or i need something else.

thanks to all of you.

Saurabh

As per my experience hotel books is required. As advised earlier request you to call the VFS to more information. They would also tell you the same. Hotel bookings is free of cost until you occupy u will not be charged.

With regard to the 35k, I personally think transfer him the money back this should not be a concern for you I believe.

I think i'll transfer the money back to my friend.
Also it would be great if you can give me some pointers on how to make a hotel booking.
Also let say i mention my probable date of travel as 6 weeks from my date of appl and do not get the stamping with these 6 weeks then can i cancel the booking.
Or can i give the date of travel 3 months from the date of appl, but if so is there any chance of my appl getting delayed. I am concerned as i might have to travel somewhere else before going to UK.

As per my talk with vijay over phone am updating few things here for the benefit of other forum users.

hotel bookings can be made at www.bookings.com
bookings can be made not more than one month in advance.
so if you dont get your visa in one month, postpone ur booking and send the mail about it to the VFS.
once you get the visa you can cancel ur booking.
make sure you tht any cancellation or postpone tht u do is atleast 2 days before the booking date.
u need to produce your credit card details, but they dont charge you unless you occupy the room.
