This topic is slightly different - the question is what happens with the applications approved during the lockdown, and the topic you are pointing to is about ceremonies that were already scheduled but got cancelled because of the lockdown.
It seems that applicants who's ceremonies got cancelled can now book ceremonies with their councils as they already have invitation letters and the councils have their certificates.
However, many applicants who got approvals during the lockdown still can't book their ceremonies even though the councils have open slots because we don't have the ceremony invitation letters. And it's not clear how to proceed - I'd be interested if anyone of this forum gets any updates as I've been waiting for more than 12 weeks since I got an email that a decision on my application had been made, but I haven't received a ceremony invitation letter and can't book a ceremony although my council confirmed they have availability.
