Super @kiss300. Congratulations...
Congratulations! Surprising that you didn't receive a decision via e-mail, but then again...not surprising either!kittycatkeeb wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 1:05 pmY'all it's finally FINALLY over. I am crying, this is such a huge weight off my shoulders.
Now for the fun part: after my biometrics on September 7 I have received ZERO communication whatsoever from the Home Office. So imagine my surprise when the decision letter with the BRP attached came through my post today!!kittycatkeeb wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:03 pmApplied for ILR Route : Set(M)

Payment debited: August 4, 2020
Documents submitted to UKVI using "Submit" option: August 5, 2020
Email re biometric reuse / IDV app: August 27, 2020
Email invitation to use IDV app: September 4, 2020 - decided to book an appointment instead

Decision Letter received: n/a
BRP Card Received: October 29
No emails of any kind - I never received the generic delay emails, no decision letter via email. What's more hilarious is that I emailed "moon man" on the Set (M) email address that was posted on this forum about 1.5 weeks ago and also never received any response.
But whatever, out of the black hole that is the ****ing Home Office, I've finally received an answer and I am a permanent resident.
See y'all in the citizenship forum!

I’m a Set(O) T2G applicant vide IDV only. Submitted my IDV verification on 23 sep. Today 29 Oct I received a delay note from UKVI stating there maybe a delay beyond 6 months! Assume this is a generic mail but does anyone have stats as to when a decision comes for SET(0) after this mail?
Latest is 19Oct. Haven't seen one after that. Few Dual ones are through but difficult to know if it's cuz of the Physical bio.
Genetic one I would guess. If the virtual queue theory is true, you should be a week or two away from a decision.Hsrsham1211 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 3:32 pmI’m a Set(O) T2G applicant vide IDV only. So frustrated when I see others applying in person later getting decision in a weeks time
I know right??? Thank you! I hope you get yours soon and can stop living with all this looming over your head, and everyone else who is waiting <3debrancherenzym wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 2:25 pmCongratulations Kittycatkeeb, fantastic news and what a way to get an approval, Home Office is one giant mystery that even they are unable to decipher themselveskittycatkeeb wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 1:05 pmY'all it's finally FINALLY over. Imagine anywhere else, such results will be considered incompetence of the whole department, imagine if you have to deliver a project on a set date, and instead, you keep your stake holders in the dark and then tell them "Oh, but we delivered the project last month"kittycatkeeb wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 11:11 pmOH MY GOD y'all I just noticed the date on the BRP, it's SEPTEMBER 23 they had me living in limbo hell for over a month extra Abolish the Home Office tbhkittycatkeeb wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 1:05 pmY'all it's finally FINALLY over. UKVI is like the black hole very had to define, pin down or quantify they make it up as they go along at least we got to be grateful they are bad but in other countries trying to get ILR is even worse or impossible.
@Ameline I share your frustration and can relate to this as at one point I had to wait almost 13months on my FLRM application before UKVI approved it the problem if that they do not actually care or respect us, you provide a service we pay for at least the bear minimum is some form of communication but with then is dead silence this day and age can they not give as access to a site where we can track to check the progress on our applications. All I ask is that do not be frustrated we must keep at it and I know good times will follow.Ameline wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 10:29 amThis is all a complete joke!! Behind every single application there is a life and a story.
Why do we have to wait for 6 months like this and not being able to travel or even make any changes in our life as our BRP has expired. It is definitely a form of discrimination. We pay £2400+ for an application which costs less than £300 and since it is usually done in same day (few hours) in the previous years and 24h with the new priority service, it means it is not complicated to review one. We have already paid a lot. They usually make money of the Super Priority Service but during this pandemic they have just to employ more staff and deal with the applications as people are losing jobs, family, businesses while waiting for the outcome...No one should put their life like this on-hold!!
I am seriously thinking to make an official complaint or at least make our voice heard through the media.
