Hello
Hope everyone is well, I just want to thank this post and everyone involved in it. My wife has been granted her visa after long struggles. More than happy to help anyone with any questions

Billy
Congratulations to your wife! How long after the interview did you get your positive response? Also has she received her biometerics card too?

Hello Rina

We got the decision after 7 months from the interview. Couple of weeks back we filed for pre action protocol after which we got the decision.

My goodness!!! I just had my interview not too long ago and I can't imagine waiting that long after waiting all these years. When you got invited for the interview did your letter give you a timeline? My letter said that I will get an answer within 6 weeks. Is this a standard letter that they give everyone?

Yes they give you a standard timeline of 6 weeks to 6 months but I’ve heard some cases not getting decisions even beyond a year. I had to make a lot complaints through my mp and solicitor to push them towards a decision.

Hi Indu, thanks for your advice, I don't think I need PAP at the moment, remember the time scale given to me was June so I have to wait until June and early July, if I didn't hear from them then I will think of chase up.

Hallo everyone

I have been waiting for a significant amount of time (almost 8 months since the date of granted asylum) for my BRP card , however struggling to support myself on no income , no any benefit, , living in UK 15 years.
I received a letter granted my leave on October 2020 (further leave to remain ). The letter stated my BRP should come within 7-10 days, here we are 8 months later and I haven't received it.

I've submitted the "BRP didn't arrive" form 3 times, it says I can expect a response in 20 days, but I haven't heard a peep of course. When I email the immigration they were as helpful as usual and just told me to keep submitting the form.

I'm mostly interested in whether anyone has received a BRP in the UK since COVID lockdowns began, and how long others have been waiting (whether or not they have received their BRPs). I can't find any information online about current delays in BRP processing.
