Subject: Re: Tier 1 Visa Query
Dear Sir/Madam
What is the rate of conversion that I should be using to confirm that I have 2800 pounds as Maintenance Funds in my bank account for the past three months?
Is it the same rate of exchange that I should be using as stated on the OANDA website? What is the date that would be used for conversion of this amount?
Lastly, the rate of exchange taken into account, is it standard across all the VFS centres in India or British High Commission Consulates in India?
I would be applying in the first week of December 2008 so I would like to know the rate of exchange.
Thanks.
Kind Regards,
xyz abc

Dear Mr xyz,
Thank you for your e-mail.
You have to use www.oanda.com for maintenance as well. Please take the day you had the minimum balance during the 3-month period and use the rate on that date.
Yours sincerely
