Indian passport with less than 6 months validity

Hi,

I am planning to go to India in Dec 2022 and come back by middle of Jan 2023. My son will be travelling with me. He has India passport which is valid until mid March 2023. His current status is RoA ( certificate of entitlement ) which is also valid until mid march 2023. I wanted to check whether he will have any issue while traveling back from India to UK in mid Jan either from airline or India/UK immigration office.

Many thanks for your quick response. I have been looking for some documentation and reached out to UK Consular Contact who referred me to https://www.gov.uk/uk-border-control link. In that link the only ref I can find is "You must have a valid passport to enter the UK. It should be valid for the whole of your stay " , which is not very clear cut answer to my situation. I wanted to carry a ref document while travelling just in case. Thanks

That applies mostly to visitor visa holders.
