Travel to the UK to visit or to live?
To live.
Appreciate the responses.

It's a tricky one to get from outside the UK. Just having a British child doesn't allow you to pack your bags and move to the UK as an adult dependant.
What might work whilst you're already in the UK wouldn't work easily from outside.
I'm afraid she can't use the child or the late spouse to enter in the UK easily at this juncture. She'll have to find a way that works for strictly her.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
