Ask friends, that's what most people do. Very few teachers would part with their personal details.numerical wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 10:55 pmHello, my wife and I received our settlement card recently and now looking to get our UK-born child to register as British citizens using the MN1 form. I have started to fill in the form and had read a bit about references. She is now in Year 1 at school. My first question is, do we need to use a teacher as her 1st referee? I am thinking to ask our friend as the 2nd referee, but also got me thinking if I can just ask 2 friends (over 25) instead, if possible. The reason for asking this is, I am a bit uncomfortable to ask details such as the teacher's home address. Thank you in advance for your kind help.
No is fine.numerical wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 11:28 pmHello, it is now another question from me. Not sure what this section is for, but I've answered NO for now. Can I ask what is this question meant for?
Do you have any other details that you would like to be considered regarding this applicant and their application to be registered as a British Citizen?
Thanks for thisTicktack wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 10:44 amNo is fine.numerical wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 11:28 pmHello, it is now another question from me. Not sure what this section is for, but I've answered NO for now. Can I ask what is this question meant for?

Probably of no significant impact on your application.numerical wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 11:28 pmHello, it is now another question from me. Not sure what this section is for, but I've answered NO for now. Can I ask what is this question meant for?

1) Documents
I was meant to list the documents I have gathered to upload and submit, so just trying to get 2nd opinion if I have missed anything.
2) References
How does the referee know the applicant?
I answered: Friend of parent
Is this OK? Perfect, child is 5 0r 6, so definitely has no friends that old.

1/ passport scan - Ok for just the first main page? Or do I need to scan every single page? Some say just the datapage and stamped pages, I always say all the pages of the passport. It cost nothing but an extra 4 minutes.
2/ ukvcas online says I can click to submit documents now to UKVI before the biometric appointment. If I don't do this, will the ukvcas staff help to submit during my child's biometric appointment to complete the application? Just asking because I didn't get this option during our ILR application. It's the HO adapting to the times. If you can't or don't click it, the UKVAC would do it for you after biometrics.
Thank you in advance.
Lodge a complaint and involve your MP.
Ok I think it is time to try the complaint and MP route since I have not received any email or letter until now.
