It depends.
If they are an "international company", they can be an official financial sponsor as in Appendix Finance paragraph FIN 8.3(b) and provide the evidence specified in Appendix Finance FIN 9.1(b).

If they are not an international company, they can still pay for your fees and living costs, but they will need to give you the money upfront so you can show evidence of it in your own name for the required 28 days.
I recommend double-checking this with the university sponsoring your visa.
