Global Talent Visa Approved (Peer Review)

Post by amjaduk780 » Wed Oct 09, 2024 5:19 pm

I’m excited to share that I’ve been granted the Global Talent Visa under the Exceptional Promise category via the Peer Review route. I applied for my endorsement in July 2024 and received the notification of approval on 1st August 2024, so it took around 4 weeks.

My expertise lies in Security and Privacy.

After receiving the endorsement, I proceeded to submit my visa applications for myself and my dependents. Thankfully, all were successful. Here’s the Stage 2 timeline:

Visa applications submitted: 14th September 2024
Biometrics submitted: 24th September 2024
Received notification from TLSContact for passport collection: 7th October 2024
Passports collected: 8th October 2024
Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

Congratulations. Which university did you do research with? Could you list the process you went through. Might be a long reply but will really help many.

Hi

Many congratulations.
I have recently done my PhD From a prestigious UK University.
I was lucky and got a Research Fellow job in a University.
I got endorsed by the UKRI on Fast Track Route Endorsement and was awarded 4 4-year Global Talent Visa.

But I am not happy with my current job and want to leave the job. I doubt if I leave my job will my endorsement be withdrawn? visa be curtailed any idea?

I was thinking of going for the PEER Review-based GTV. So that I don't have any fear of changing jobs and all.
In Peer Review, I will need to have a good CV and a good professional letter from my current supervisor. My supervisor is a good man but not that famous. Would that work?
I have no international publications but have national ones and 5 published ones.

Secondly, any Idea about my field is dentistry which council I should go to for endorsement?
thank you for your guidance
