eVisa not visible

Hi All,

I received ILR application approval email for myself & child. As advised on the email for both of us, I then created UKVI account for myself and child and applied for evisa registration using mobile app.

For myself - The moment I submitted eVisa, it was visible on the website and I could view the same under 5 min.

For my child - I received this email post submission "What happens next:
We will email you to let you know when you can view your eVisa."

It has been couple of days however I haven't received any information and obviously worried if it's stuck due to technical glitch.

Please suggest should I contact UKVI helpline? What's the best way to contact? Any personal experience?

What happens if it's not updated before 31 Dec?

Also would we able to travel outside UK based on approval email?

Nothing stops you from traveling outside the UK. Returning is where you will encounter problems.
Approval email will most likely not be accepted.

Hi,

I received ILR evisa email for my kid today however I am confused with the information.

The status shows 'Dependant' whereas rest of the body says no time limit.

Status: Dependant

There is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK.

If any of the information displayed on your status is incorrect, contact UK Visas and Immigration.

The status field in evisa shows:

Status: Dependant

Whereas rest of the email comments talks about settlement. I have checked mine it says status as 'settled' and comments are inline with the status. Shouldn't my child evisa also have stated status as 'settled'?

OK then contact them to check this. I agree "dependent" isn't an immigration status, "settled" is. Child isn't dependent anymore on your status.

Child is and always would be a dependant. This just shows that the path for the ILR was based on the parent. Child probably wouldn't qualify independently.

Not all ILR's comes without remarks. The most important is that it's ILR.

Didn't know that child is not mentioned as 'settled' but the legal meaning or the remarks is that what matters. I raised the error request the same day, hopefully I should get the same response. Many thanks again, it has relieved me a lot

The HO works their magic as they deem fit. An example is a refugee that has ILR. There would always by Refugee Settlement back in the BRP days. Not sure what they would have now.
