I am currently in the UK applying to renew my Tier 2 visa, but I've discovered my employer filled out my new Certificate of Sponsorship incorrectly. They have:
1) Used my old passport number (it was renewed last year)
2) Put in the incorrect start/end dates for my employment
I'm assuming these mistakes will create a red flag when my application is processed. Here's my question--can they cancel this certificate and create a new one without incurring a new certificate fee? I'd hate for them to pay twice for my certificate.
I see where they can add "sponsor notes" to the certificate, but my guess is these are too important to corrent via a notes field. Or am I wrong about that?
Any advice/experience in this area? Thanks!
