Citizenship Ceremonies 2025

Post by mcrdublin » Tue Jan 21, 2025 2:24 pm

Hi all, wondering if anyone who has been approved since December 24 has had any indication of where and when the next ceremony will be? Its frustrating for booking travel and time off work etc as they don't seem to give much notice in advance...

Bear in mind we had a general election 2 months ago and we are still at the negotiation and formation stage. Therefore we don’t yet know who would be appointed as the Minister of Justice.

There are quite a lot of people approved back in November & December. I’d expect them to start receiving invitations once the new government is in place. The new Minister, whoever that will be, should always issue invitations around one month before the actual ceremony takes place.

Let's wait until official announcements indeed.
