Post by savane2 » Tue Feb 04, 2025 3:58 pm

Hi all,

I made an application for fee waiver for first extention as a parent of a british child under the 10 years route.the documents were submitted on the 28th of January 2025 and today is the 4th of February and i haven t received a confirmation email to say they have received them.

Was i supposed to receive a confirmation email?

Many thanks for your answers

Hi,

I think it depends for example in 2020 I did not get correspondence and when I followed it up 3 months later it was actually ready just over a months from when I applied but never got sent out, so they sent it out later that day.

In 2024 I applied in December 19 by Gods grace I raised the funds by 10 January 2025 and made a paid submission. The waiver team replied 23/01 to advise that they will not consider my request because i have since made a paid application and should wait to hear from that team.

I think timelines will vary.
