GTV to ILR time spent calculation

Post by kingds5 » Sat Jun 08, 2024 8:34 pm

I previously held a Tier 1 Entrepreneur for 2 years from June 2021 - June 2023, and from June 2023 until present, I'm on the Global Talent Visa (Exceptional Talent).

I understand after 3 years on the GTV we can apply for ILR and read on their latest guide that they allow to include any time you’ve spent on other Tier 1 visas (except Graduate Entrepreneur) to meet the requirements for time spent in the UK:

I like to clarify and double-check whether can I apply for ILR later this year, counting the 2 years from my Tier 1 Entrepreneur time spent + my 1 year GTV?

Truly appreciate it if anybody could answer the above and provide some clarity.

Thanks

ILR from GTV Route

Post by kingds5 » Wed Feb 05, 2025 6:43 am

I'm looking to apply ILR with my GTV route (Exceptional Talent), which allows applying ILR after 3 years.

I receive my GTV in July 2023. I previously held a Tier 1 Entrepreneur from 11 June 2021.
Read that we can count the years from Tier 1.

Would like to know if am I eligible to apply for ILR?

Thanks

ILR showing earnings GTV route

Post by kingds5 » Tue Feb 11, 2025 11:43 am

I'm currently applying my ILR via GTV (Exceptional Talent) route, previously held a Tier 1 entrepreneur which I'm counting the years into as well. These are the requirements below to show earnings, I'd like to confirm if I can show my company account (I am the director of my own company)? My accountant is asking to confirm as they feel we need to show personal accounts but the requirement from Home Office is showing business account? Like to know from anybody else experience on this as I don't want to jeopardise my application or caused any delays.

Thanks

There is no specific requirement or specific evidence needed. Provided whatever you have or you can

There is no specific earning requirement for ILR under Global Talent Visa route
