I came to know from my parents that they applied US visit visa from pakistan in 1999 or 2000 and it was refused due to US official at interview not convinced we will return back and that time I was 9 or 10 years old.

I moved to uk in 2005 and became British citizenship and now I want to visit USA but trouble is I don’t have any documents to declare on ESTA when exactly application was refused and what was the actual reason.

What should I do in this case. Shall I apply ESTA and give approximate information or simply apply B1/B2 visa and explain this to US Immigration official or is there a way I can request past visa refusal record from US immigration?

Apply for ESTA and give approximate information. Not sure you could be penalised for this if you didn't know about the application. Because you were a minor.

Regardless, your ESTA should be granted if there are no other mitigating factors.
