IHS Refund

Dear Team,

I have filled my daughters application for extension of PBS Dependent visa for 2 years.

I have started their applications before expiry date of current visas. I have requested a visa extension for 2 years. But the tool had calculated the HIS fee from the day of visa application date instead of actual visa request date.

Could you please confirm when shall i receive my IHS refund for additional 6 months charged.

Details of my 1st Daughter:

Current Visa Expiry Date: 14th April 2025
New Visa Start Date: 21st Feb 2025
New Visa End Date: 28 April 2027


Details of my 2nd Daughter:

Current Visa Expiry Date: 14th April 2025
New Visa Start Date: 5 March 2025
New Visa End Date: 28 April 2027

You received two visas that are valid for longer than 2 years. No IHS refund due.

You simply applied a little too early.

Did you think the 2 years would start from 15th April?? It doesn't work like that. The visa extension start date is from date of approval.
