Hey Zimba,
They just prevented you from entry. They did not give you an official refusal. Again, this has no relevance to your ILR. Declaring it or not has no effect on your ILRDeeyosmith wrote: ↑Sat Jun 21, 2025 8:28 amHey Zimba,
Thanks for your earlier reply.
Wanted to get back to you on this.
Why do you say that it has no relevance to my ILR? Don’t they usually ask in the form if you’ve ever been refused entry to any country?
Thanks
Thanks so much for your detailed response, it makes a lot of sense and makes me feel better. I was always thinking if I answered no, then somehow they’ll ask Schengen or something and the incident would be brought up and they’ll think that I lied and deny my visa. But it makes sense that they’ll need to see proof of the refusal anyways.zxyzhgp wrote: ↑Sat Jun 21, 2025 2:12 pmSo If you select yes to that question, and If my memory is correct, you need to put details into the box (e.g. date & reasons). You do not know which grounds they used to refuse you. Also your passport pages do not show that either. You have no relevant official documents from your side to support this.
Thanks Zimba! That makes sense. Dealing with visas always makes you overthink everythingzimba wrote: ↑Sat Jun 21, 2025 2:17 pmThey just prevented you from entry.
