Here’s my timeline for your reference.
Thanks so much, this group really makes me feel like I have friends to share my feelings with and a bit of hope to hold on to.

24 Apr 2025: Date of Application sent
7 May 2025: Received DOJ approval temp Stamp 4
12 May 2025: Request for more docs - 1st time
15 May 2025: Requested docs sent
4 June 2025: Request for more docs - 2nd time
4 June 2025: Requested docs sent
24 Sept 2025: They called and mentioned my application is approved and I should receive post letter in a week.
But it never came so I had to ring them several time to check and it turned out they messed up with their system, it's not sent.

7 Oct 2025: Stamp 4 EUFam approval letter received via post and applied for IRP card renewal immediately
6 Nov: Renewal approved via email
13 Nov: IRP card received.

I am the same.
Here is my timeline:
13.09.2025 - Application sent by post.
16.09.2025 - Application received.
10.10.2025 - Letter asking for more supporting evidences
13.10.2025 - Documents sent.
16.10.2025 - Supported documents received and status of the process moved to "in progress".
Since then, no more news.
I am a bit worried here.
My job do let me to keep working once I showed the letter where they asked for more documents, once in the letter it says that I applied before my visa expired (my vis expired on 27.10).
But I have a trip booked for January and I am really worried about that.
how do you find a job? most of the places asked me for ROI proof of work status. telling that i am waiting of permission is not accepted :D

I am in the same job for the past 2 years. I was on Stamp 1G before and I applied for the Stamp 4 EUTR before my visa expired. So when I received the letter asking for more documents, it was said the date I sent the application. So after I received this letter, I showed to them and it was fine.

hello guys,
I applied in 19/5/2025 for EUTR1, my stamp 4 was valid until 18/11/2025.
I emailed them and they sent me another temporary stamp 4 valid until 17/2/2026, and they asked for the eu citizen latest pay slip.
Do I need to apply for renewal of stamp 4 or just wait until they issue the final decision, because they told me now my application with the decision maker?
please note that I am currently employed, can I keep working only showing the letter permission?
please answer to me it is urgent.
Thank you

Hi! My employer allow me to continue working just with the first letter acknowledging that they receive my application. So, I guess, with the letter stating your temporary visa should be ok.
Can I ask you the time frame between your application and your first temporary visa?

Ah, I do really think it will be ok with your job!
But regards renewing or wait for the other IRP, maybe you should ask them.

Hello everyone!

My timeline:
15 July 2025 - went to Burgh Quay without permission letter (just didn't know anything about the proceduare and registered an appointment before moving to Ireland), they took my photo and fingerprints at once and told me to send an EUTR1 form by post and wait. I sent EUTR1 by post the same day.
22 August - got a letter where the Immigration office mixed up my documents with someone else's application
9 September - after having written 5 letters to EU Treaty Rights department they finally answered that they corrected all details
11 September - got an email about my application being reviewed
12 September - got a letter of approval stating that I'm granted a permission to stay in Ireland for 5 years based on Stamp 4 EUFAM

I have a question though - in the letter they write that in order to get IRP card my EU spouse and I have to register online on https://inisonline.jahs.ie/home portal and submit online our documents. But I can't find anything at that portal that would match my case. We are not de facto partners, neither students nor Turkish. What do I have to fill in there and which option to choose? I called to Burgh quay and they told me to "submit a query and it will qualify"(?) Maybe I got something wrong. I haven't had another appointment, I randomly registered for the appointment in November since there were no other dates before. Do I have just to wait until November? But in the letter they say I have to first upload something along with my spouse online. And there is nothing about registering another appointment. I'm confused. How did you proceed with your IRP application after being granted your Stamp 4 EUFAM?

12 November - finally went to Burgh Quay because I already had applied for the appointment in August before getting the decision.
19 November - got my IRP card for 5 years

In my passport I’ve got a stamp 4 EUFAM (Spouse is EU citizen) but my IRP card says Stamp 4. I wonder if it’s a mistake or not.

Does anyone know if it’s normal to get Stamp 4 written on your IRP while in your passport you have Stamp 4 EUFAM? Is it a mistake?

It has to be Stamp 4 EUFam. You will have problems when you try to travel alone to Schengen countries since only EUFam IRP cards are allowed. Check your permission letter, If it states EU Treaty Rights then the IRP has a typo error. Check on the back of the card as well. Should have remarks 'residence card for family member of union citizen'.
