They could be separate evidence showing a shared address.
Thank you, Zimba. Appreciate. From my previous response on the proposed approach below.
I am quite certain that this approach works for most people in the forum (
ilr-application-date-t359293.html) that their visa is expire prior to the ILR eligibility date, hence they can legally apply the 45 working days to delay the biometric process before the visa expire.
However, my wife's visa will be expire in 23/02/2027 which is not before the ILR eligibility date. Therefore, I am not sure whether the proposed approach works for her case. Appreciate your help on whether the following approach works. Thank you so much!
Background:
Visa application submission date outside the UK:
26/03/2021
Visa decision Date:
21/04/2021
BRP Issue Date:
18/05/2021
First enter UK :
02/06/2021
Current Visas Expiry Date:
23/02/2027
ILR Eligibility date : 20 / 04 / 2026 ( 18/05/2021+ 5 years - 28 days)
Proposed approach 1 :
1. Apply ILR: before 8 April to avoid the increase fee
2. Delay biometrics till reaching eligibility date. This is with the understanding that there will be 45 working days legally available to attend biometrics appointment, post application submission. The last date to attend biometrics appointment will be before 14 May 2026.
3. Book biometrics appointment between 20 April 2026 (28 days before 5 year completion) and 14 May 2026 (last date of biometrics appointment based on application submission date).
