MN1 application for newly born child in UK

Hi guys, I have a question regarding my child’s GTV dependent visa. She was born in the UK in February 2026. I am going to be eligible for ILR in December 2026.

My question is whether I should apply for her dependent visa now or should I just wait until December 2026 and apply for MN1 application for her directly.

For context, I have Global talent visa that is valid until Dec 2026. And I am not planning to exit UK during this timeframe.

You can apply for registration directly after you get ILR. Highly suggest you secure private medical insurance as your child can't use the NHS for free without a visa. Clearly child can't travel until citizenship is granted and you get a UK passport.
