Passport stamps and other questions

Post by BigGav1985 » Mon Jul 13, 2026 2:07 pm

I applied recently as a non EU citizen based on 10+ years residency.
If someone could answer following questions I'd be grateful:

I have submitted all needed proofs of residency for the last 5 years(utility bills,3months bank statements etc).
It is unclear to me should I have sent entire copy of my previous and current passport with all stamps in it ,or just pages with stamps?

Also as I'm residing legally in Ireland for over 10 years, should I have sent to the department a residency calculation or not?

I also have problems using that calculator even though I know that I'm way over minimum requirement.I don't know what was number of my initial passport stamp on entry and then subsequent one I received in Garda station while I was awaiting on my stamp4?The first green stamp has 001 writing in the top left hand corner, and the one I received in Garda station has 10/3 writing in top right hand corner.

In case you are of opinion that I should have sent this what would be the best way to send it now as I already got my reference number and don want to delay my application?

Thanks

You just have to send a certified colour copy of the photo page of your passport. You don't have to send a copy of the stamps, they can look that information up.

You do not need to send the output of the residency calculator, you're just supposed to have used it to give yourself confidence that you meet the requirements.
