Queries Regarding Partner skilled worker extention based on ILR

Hi everyone,

I recently received my ILR after being on a Skilled Worker visa. However, my wife is still on a Skilled Worker Dependant visa and has now completed around 4.5 years on it.

She only needs about another 6 months to become eligible for ILR. We’re trying to understand how to extend her visa for this period.

Someone told me that it’s only possible to extend a Skilled Worker Dependant visa for 3 years only using the existing CoS, and that a 6-month extension isn’t allowed.

Is this correct? If not, could anyone who has been in a similar situation or has knowledge of the process please advise how we can extend her visa for just 6 months?

You have asked this previously and been given advice.

There is no shorter extension option for dependents..

It is a 3 year extension as stated in the immigration rules. You cannot choose to apply for less time.

I recently received my Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and am currently applying to extend my partner's visa based on my last Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

Could you please clarify the following questions from the application:

1. For the question, "Does [Partner's Name] already have their Skilled worker visa?", should the answer be Yes or No, given that I am now on ILR?
2. For the question, "What is [Partner's Name]'s UAN?", does this refer to the Unique Application Number (UAN) from my last Skilled Worker visa or my ILR UAN?
