ILR eligibility check

1. Completing 10 years on 15 Oct 2026 as entered into Uk on 16 Oct 2016 on Tier2 ICT short term.
2. Left UK on 13 Oct 2017 and entered UK again on 4Dec 2017 at new visa tier 2 ICT Long term ( applied from India)

3.renew Tier2 ICT Long term with in UK until Nov 2021

4. Applied skill route visa and valid until Dec 2026

Currently on the skill worker route and visa ending on 7 Dec 2026.

Queries:

As I gone through few posts then think that I am eligible to apply on long term residence? Please confirm.
Will the home office calculate 10 years on the date of decision or date of application submit date? Can I apply little early in July?

For long residence, you can apply 28 days before the 10th anniversary of your first entrance into the UK (which is when your residence would have started).

So you should be able to apply after 17th September this year.

UK is getting rid of 10 year ILR. Get a sponsored visa or make plans to go home.

The date of entry is no longer relevant as the rules were changed in 2024

I am planning to apply Long term Residence application and like to check my eligibility.

1. TIER 2 ICT SHORT TERM - 16/10/2016 ( Enterted to UK) - 13/10/2017 ( Return to India)
2. Tie2 2 ICT Long Term - 04/12/2017 ( entered in UK) - valid until 07/12/2021 ( applied 2 extension with in UK)
3. Switch to Skill Route (with in UK) - 12/12/2021 - 07/12/2026 ( applied one extension so 2+3 years)

Couple of absences

18 Feb 2020 - 02 -Mar-2020
29 Dec 2023 - 18 Jan 2024
07 Nov 2024 - 17 Nov 2024

As per my understanding, I can apply by 18- Sep-2026. Please check and confirm.

As rules are changing so can i apply early like in August and delay biometric until 18 sep-2026?

I had done SAR and one travel to France from UK for holidays (5 days) missing through Dover- Calais port. My passport do not have stamp for entry to France but have entry stamp when entered to UK.which documents should I give to cover that period for Long residence ILR application?

You do NOT need to provide any documents for absences. UKVI relies on entry/exit records they have internally to assess your absences. Any document provided by you are used as a guide. The internal data of the UKVI systems are NOT handed to you when you request an SAR
