Can i claim pay for 7 months out of my last 12 months ?

HI All,

I want to apply for extension from HSMP to Tier 1 in first week of april. I have changed job last september, and I think my previous employer wont happily provide me the proof of earning letter, and my payslips are bit messy since it includes my over time and stuff which would be difficult to justify without letter from employer.

SO i have decided to apply for extension and claim for only last 7 months( with my new company )..I was wondering if there is a rule that specifies that you should claim for minimum of 8 out of 12 months ? or can I claim for 7 months also ?

Hi Golu,

You can apply considering any 12 months or less from last 15 months.. Note that u may even take 5 or 6 months if itz sufficient for u to score the qualifying points (see that these are consecutive months).

I am also preparing my application for 2 week of April. For me, 7 months earnings is enough for scoring deficit points from reqd 75 pts. But I will provide evidence for more months which will help me score highest point in the section.
