EEA family visa question

Post by spencerand » Tue Apr 07, 2009 3:36 pm

I am a US citizen married to an Italian and I am currently living in London on an EEA five year visa. The visa has a few years left in it but my passport expires in about six months. Do I really have to apply for a new family visa all over again? Is there any way around it? Any advice would be most welcome.

I need to travel fairly frequently for my work so it would be a huge problem if I couldn't travel. I am registered on Iris for the duration of my visa, so maybe I could still travel?

No. Just carry both new and old passport when travelling
