About the Teir1 Assessment Tool Query

Post by jimmymcad » Tue May 05, 2009 4:30 pm

Sorry Experts few silly questions: I got HSMP visa valid from Sep 2007- Sep 2009. I applied for it around June 97 or July 07 and got the initial approval letter in between and then applied for EC.

I am willing to extend my leave under Tier1 General.

On The UK BA website, self assesment tool,

q) What type of application are you making?

a. Switching
b. Extending your staty in UK

What do i need to select here? Please confirm
I think i need to select Extension here. If i select Extension it gives

q) Are you already in the United Kingdom with permission to stay as a highly skilled migrant, with an approval letter issued under the immigration rules in place from 5 December 2006?

Yes or No.

What do i need to select in these two questions please suggest
Yes or No, Sorry it is a bit confusing. Please if some one can answer.

Regards,
Jimmy
