Tier 1 (General) - 90/180 days Clauses

Hello Everyone,

I read some earlier posts on this topic but I am still a bit confused.

My questions are -
1. When is the latest one should move to the UK after getting his first Tier 1 valid for 3 years? Is it within 90 days from the date stamped on the Visa? In that case what is the 28 day clause?

2. If one moves to the UK after 90 days then what happens? Would the visa be no longer valid?

3. The maximum period of absence, as I understood, is a total of 180 days out of the 3 years of validity. Am I correct? Somewhere I also read that it is 225 days. Which number should one go by?

I just want ot ensure that I am on the same page with HO's change of rules. Any clarification is welcome.

I dont know about 90 days matter,

But whatever I have read so far about absence, it is for when you make ILR application, on that you have to fill number of days abroad over whole of 5 years period. Most people seem to agree/suggest to keep it within/about 180 days..according to HO policy it says that annual holidays/business trips are okay as long as continues to be resident in UK.

Anybody else can correct me if I am wrong.
