Date of birth issue - please help

I am applying for the tier-1 from india and form vaf9 (section 5.10)requires the date of birth of parents. I do not have any idea or proof about the date of birth of my father who passed away 15 years ago.

I had filed up his date of birth based on the knowledge of other family member when i filled up my work permit entry clearance last year but do not remember that now.

Is there a problem if I end up filling father's date of birth which could be different from what was filled up in my last year's entry clearance application for work permit, which was granted?

Any input will be highly appreciated.

Don't think that should matter. HO will grant Tier-1 to you.
