Will Business Visit visa supersede Tier 1 General?

Hi,

I Have HSMP (now Tier 1 General) stamped for three years from March 2009 to March 2012. But because of recession, I have thought of traveling after 8-10 months from my validity start date. Meanwhile I joined another company, where I have got offered short term Business visit to UK for my project work on Business visitor visa. So, currently I am on Business visit in London and have few queries about Visa and travel.

1) Is my Tier 1 still valid ? or Will Business Visit visa supersede Tier 1 General ?

2) As I am on Business visit visa, do I need to go back to India and travel back on HSMP (Tier 1 General) if I get a job in London ? or Is there any other practice (that I can follow to avoid double travel) like transfer of visa stamp on passport (from business visit to Tier 1) by visiting Embassy etc ?

3) I have got Tier 1 General visa before April 2009 and Points were awarded for my Bachelor Degree according to old rules. Now rules got changed and no points for Bachelor Degree. If I go for extension (or ILR/Citizenship) of visa after couple of years, Will there be any affect on me (kind of rejection) in terms of Qualification ?
