Online application Postal fee

Post by krishna1215 » Mon Oct 12, 2009 8:30 pm

Hi,
I have submitted my application online for tier 1 visa.
There is an option to select if courier required. I had selected it and it amounts to a fee of 6 Euro's .

When going personally to the embasy on date of appointment, is it that its not necessary for me to take a self addressed envelope?

Does the embassy post the documents back to my address as I had selected that option?

When I asked the same question to UK visainfo services by email, they replied I had three options:

1- I go there and personally collect passport/documents.
2- I pay fee (as you have paid) and then they will send passport/documents by courier.
3- I give signed authority letter to someone, who can collect passport and documents on my behalf.

I selected the first option.

Hi Mvent again,
I just selected that option online, but dint pay the application fee or postal fee yet. as said on 22nd I will take CASH and go.

I will ask them to send by post (as u had mentioned, I wouldnt take any postal envelope etc with me) . They can send back once I pay that fee in person.

Would they intimate us when they return back the documents. Or is there a way we can just the status online, just to make sure we are at home during that day.

I saw in another post that Chetanojha has already sent you. Please check your email. Alternatively, you may send a PM to him and check your PM later.

I do not know the country you are applying from. You can send an email to them asking about it. Use this website https://www.visainfoservices.com/Pages/Welcome.aspx , select your country from drop down list, and then use option "Send an email enquiry". As per my experience, they reply real fast.
