Tier-1 Applicants from South Korea

Dears,

I am an Indian employed in South Korea and planning to apply from South Korea.
I have lot of doubts before applying. Any past or current applicants for Tier-1 from South Korea, plz kindly reply.
My Queries are:

(1) When my friends applied Tier-1 from India there was no request for NARIC document. Since I have done masters in India an applying in Korea, is it mandatory to get NARIC certificate ? I have done Mater's in IISc, Bangalore and it is listed in the list of Universities in the Points calculator.
(2) Korean employers give payslips in Korean language for all the months worked. Is it mandatory to get all the 12 payslips translated to English ?

I have more queries, so would like to discuss with the current or past application for Tier-1 from South Korea.

Absolutely Yes.If you don't want to translated those payslips in englisg than better get a letter from your employer stating gross and net pay for each month for last 12 months. Letter + Bank Statement would be sufficient to provide your earnings. (or Payslips + Bank Statements)

Needless to add, all original documents need to be in English. If they aren't, then you will have to provide a notarized English translation along with the original.

The reason for my first question is that, I have seen a message in this forum date: Oct-2008, where a person applied in South Korea was rejected as NARIC was not attached (from a similar Insitute). Logically speaking, they should not reject if the institute is listed. I did not get any reply from the applicant after messaging him in this board.

Make sure PBS give you enough points for your qualification. Also attach an printout of PBS self assessment of your points along with your applicatino.

Sometimes, an institute is listed in PBS calculator, but it does not award you points. So, as Chetan has mentioned, just listing in PBS calculator is not enough, it should also award you the necessary points.
