HSMP Dependant visa (Non JR- 'stamped HSMP VISA)

hi guys,
im on HSMP visa (till December 2010)im gonna get married June 2010, need some information about my wife's visa.

i've contacted VFS and this is the reply for my mail, plz have a look at the visa application form that my wife should use, they had said its VAF2 but i'm sure its VAF10? plzz share ur ideas and experiance,

1) Would she get the right to work in UK?
Yes she can

2) Please let me know the list of documents that I should provide
(amount of financial evidence, amount of maintenance funds,
accommodation etc...)
Regarding the maintenance please login to www.ukvisas.gov.uk
As they have give in details what you need to submit. And for
accommodation
it is mandatory to have sufficient space for you'll to live hence
arrange accommodation prior to applying

3) List of documents my dependant should provide (amount of financial
evidence)
All this information is available in the UK visa website in
www.ukvisas.gov.uk

4) Application form that she can use for dependant visa,
Form should be VAF 2 (Employment Form)

5) The processing time for a HSMP Dependant visa
I would like to inform you that it takes 15 working days
For any non-settlement applications to be processed but these times are
guidelines
And processing may take longer depending on individual circumstances.

6) The visa fee for HSMP Dependant
Visa fees should be 43,000 LKR.

Yes, it feels strange. You may send them an email again to check if it is a mistake or not? If not, then why they want her to use this application form?

One possible explaination could be that as you were not married yet and you were asking if she could work or not? They may be thinking that you are planning to apply for her work visa, as she is not your dependent yet. So they told to use that form. Anyway, you can check it out.
