PEO or POST

Post by marupa » Sat Oct 31, 2009 3:02 pm

Hi All,

I would like to get your opinion on whether to go for appointment at PEO or apply via post.

Yes I know there is a 200 pounds difference, but is it worth the cost.

Your view please.

Thanks and Regards,
Aparna

Depends on you. If you need passport urgently now or in near future, you can go for in-person application. Otherwise, you can save 200 GBP for some other useful thing  .

As mvent advised, this is your personal choice. With PEO you can explain things personally to caseworkers whereas that is not the case with post. But if your case is not straight forward, then it is better to apply by post(if caseworker find more details to be verfied then even PEO application can be held untill details/information is verified by caseworker). Also depends on when you need your passport back and your patience level. Do you think applying by post and waiting/panicking/worrying for the approval is worth £200?
