Work from Home - Immigration Question

Post by listonb » Thu Nov 05, 2009 9:21 pm

I currently work from home for a company in the US. I'm a US citizen. I would like to come travel around europe and the UK. I would like to spend more then 6 months traveling around the UK and am trying to figure out how I can do this. I do not need a job in the UK as I can work from anywhere in the world with my job. Any tips or advice? I do not have a degree so I do not qualify for tier 1 hsmp, I'm 10 points shy based on age and salary qualifications, 65 of the 75 points, 90 points total with english and everything else.

think USA citizen can come to visit UK without anything so you should be okay to come here for a visit. or i believe there's any category known as WORKING HOLIDAY MAKER which allows you to live and work here for upto 2 years.
