What is your visa type?rice_porridge wrote:Dear All:
guidance 99 says: The applicant can claim points for previous earnings in any single, consecutive 12-month period during the 15 months immediately before the date of applying.
guidance 100 also says and gives out the exmaple: All the periods we specify are calendar 100. months (for example 14 January – 13 February).
My question is: If I wish to claim my earning from 20th January 2009, does my 12 month earning end?

Hi Dear; I want to apply on 20th Jan 2010 by claiming my salary period between 15th Jan 2009 to 14th Jan 2010. However, I was told by an OISC advisor that the period is wrong, it would be 15th Feb 2009 till 15th Jan 2010 if i wish to apply on 20th Jan 2010.tvn_ramesh wrote:I think you are on Monthly Salary payment.. that is goodrice_porridge wrote:Thanks Deartvn_ramesh wrote:Is your salary paid Monthly?? In fact there is no gap. I left my old company on 22nd Feb 09 and started employment in new company on 23rd Feb 2009. However, my employer from old company still paid me monthly (15th every month) until March. (He forgot to cancel the company direct debit to my account) Therefore, my bank statement still shows his company title and payment until 15th March 2009.
I have payslips until February 2009 as I have been working there for many years. However, the payslip for Jan and Feb 2009 are not dated right. Neither is the amout. But I will ask him and accoutant to write a letter. Or alternatively, in order to avoid confusion, I will have to ignore that salaried payment from that company.
Thanks for reading my long story. -_*

Employer letter normally is required when there is a conspirancy in the payments on payslip vs bankstatements because of the mistake of employer or accounts dept or payroll dept but not urs.. so this letter will give the CW the reason to look ur application positively..
I think the CW is concerned with urmno2uk wrote:Hmm .. i am aware of the formats chetan has shared ..Ramesh..
Dnt think you got what i asked - I am just wondering what they look for on the pay slips.. are they concerned abot jst the totals of gross salary and the net pay matching the bank statements ..
are they also interested in the investments / tax calculations of ours ?
About the mistakes part :
just wanted to clarify that -- in my case there are 2 mistakes on the banks part and i have a letter from them but not from the employer accnts ppl..i only have an email talking abt one of them and not for the other..
i will try but i dnt think they will be as cooperative .. it was not as easy with bank staff either getting letter from them./
Thanks..
