On workpermit for 5 years now and need help on ILR

Hi All,
I have been on workpermit for last 5 years and was out of UK for 208 days in 2007 as my employer had sent me back to India(my base location) to work on the same project. Employer would be giving me the letter substantiating this, what else would I need please? If someone has the letter format used successively that will help me greatly in getting this from employer. Also could you please guide me with what forms and what all should I provide please.

If you can show you were paid in UK ... you paid tax in UK ... you lived in UK (council / lease) ... then you have a good case ...good thing is u have letter from employer ...

You are only required to be paid in UK. Council tax etc are not require. Clearly you won't pay council tax if you are out of the country.

how many days , i have lost my case even after letter from employers , salary slips , bank account statements , tax assessments from HMRC

std reply OF ho 180 day , this is red line , I lost £1020 , even u r still applying mail in post , all the best

I am aware of similar case when employer sent resource back to India to work on the same project with offshore team. He got letter from employer stating the same and now got PR from Croydon Office. Him along with many other people in the same company has got it too. All of them had more or less similar situation. He went through solicitor though.

Need to be handled carefully.. use good solicitors.. and just forget the Fees you are paying.. its hit out or get out situation.. Goodluck..
