Changes to Tier 1 Visa in 2010

Post by arianashok » Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:30 am

Hello all,

Does any of you know when the recommendation by the parlimentary board for the proposed changes to Tier 1 visa such as removing the need for a masters degree, etc will be accepted?

It was said that the proposal will either be accepted or rejected in early 2010? Does anyone have latest information on this?

Thanks in advance,
Ashok

Hi Arun,

Thanks for your response.

I was not looking for an intelligent guess. But I was thinking that senior members might have a fair idea of when such decisions are made during the year. Also, someone else might have come across some piece of information about this, which I might have missed.

Regards,
Ashok

The home office doesnt make any decisions in a particular time of the year. So, your guess is as good as any senior members'.
You could keep watching the news and updates on the UKBA website or even subscribe to the news feed so that you do not miss any key information. As of now there are no updates on when the recommendations will be dealt with. All the best.
