Tier1 General Entry Time and Dependent Visa Application

Post by ssopen » Sun Feb 28, 2010 2:53 pm

Hi

I got Tier1 (General) visa last year in April 2009 which is valid till April 2012, but I am still outside UK.
Now I got a opportunity in London. I am planning to move in March 2010 (though it has only 2 years validity). I have following questions and concerns related to my move,

1. What kind of documents I require to enter in London. (As this is my first visit to London), please provide the list of docs or pointers ? Do I need to declare any fund or how much money I need to carry for easy entry?

2. My spouse and kid don't have UK visa, what are the possibilities to bring them with me on my first visit? what kind of visa I could apply for them?

3. Should I apply dependent visa after reaching to UK for my dependents?
Thanks in advance, please help regarding my above concerns, it’s very much needful from my side.

Once again thanks.

1. Try to have all the docs you sent with ur application handy.. just incase immigration officer wats to chk..

- have TB Report n x-ray
- Have some cash in gbp for taxi n living till u get ur salary

2. Apply them as Tier1(G) DEPENDENTS VISA

3.You can apply for them right now before you leave to UK or after also..

Thanks Ramesh for the information.

Though just wondering for Tier1(G) dependent pass I need to show consistent GBP 1600+1600+2800 fund. Though I am afraid, I am in lack of that requirement.

What should be the optimum approach? Should I go to UK and wait till 90 days and then apply or are there any other possibilities to get it through.

Thanks in advance.
