Hi all !! I have been livin in UK since 2000...Since june 2009 i am on tier-1 general visa...how much money do i need to show for my wife's dependent visa (she is in india)...£533 OR £1600...also how much is the dependent application fee at the moment..thanks

Thanks so much for your reply to my earlier post. I just had few confusions regarding my wife's dependent application. I'd b realy grateful to you for any advice with this.

problem is I am self-employed and at the moment. I only have the (WHsmith news) invoices with me until dec 2009 and dont have any tax returns papers or accountant papers. The only proof i have that matches with the invoices/payments is my bank statements which shows the money coming in my account on invoice dates. But thing is in all those statements my account is overdrawn.
Now do i realy need the tax/accountants letter or is it possible that bank statements and invoices alone can verify the legitimacy of my self employment. Also would the overdrawn statements be ok?????

for maintenance funds im planning to show my wife's indian accounts and fixed deposits etc .
Now what would you reckon? Shall I proceed with this or wait another month..go back to UK get my docs sorted n then apply...
