Selfemployment in Uk/ Germany salaried job

Post by JO2010 » Mon Mar 01, 2010 11:51 pm

Hi All,

I need clarification please,

I got tier 1 last year to expire next year sept. Was posted from my home country shortly to Germany to work. I came to Uk got my NI, opened an account and registered sole trader business. I come into UK every month to do business while I still continue to work for my company in Germany.

My question is when am due to extend my tier 1 visa can I combine both my UK self employment with my salaried germany paid job to claim previous earnings? Or can I do claim points for uk self employment earnings.

I eagerly await advise on what documents/preparations to put in place.

Thank you.

Yes you can claim both the earnings, but should not use the Uplift ration esply because you claim UK earnings and live in UK also..

Thanks tvn_ramesh!

I earn about 28k in Germany. Should I use the normal currency converter to get the accurate pounds equivalent of Euro earnings?

Is it true I have to earn about £16 to be able to claim UK work experience?

So sorry for the various questions.

Thanks.
